I’m just laying here in my cat shirt watching videos of aquariums and shit. Morgan (my roommate and all-round badass) just came into my room, slammed Catching Fire onto my bed, and was like “WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON IN THIS PLACE??”
I love her. Hahahaha
Today, in Books-A-Million, I spotted John Green’s book and I immediately made my friends stand watch as I switched the stack of TFiOS books from the back of the table to the front so they could be seen better.
A note to booksellers: TFiOS SHOULD NEVER BE HIDDEN. I’m just saying. Its a great book.
Mariah gives no fucks about Chuck Palahniuk.
Needless to say, I nearly failed that house check due to a book.

Not sure when I will find time but this is my current to be read stack. My copy of The Hunger Games was stolen while I was in the library. There is no worse crime you could commit onto me, other than assaulting me. Jerkfaces. :[
A girl in my class asked me what my name was. When I told her “I’m Charlie, you should get to know me” she told me her laptop is named Charles after her favorite author. I told her I didn’t know who Charles Bukowski was. She immediately started gushing about his books and told me she is forcing me to read his work. I just laughed it off and went on with our discussion of literature and our class project. Today, when I came to class she turned around and handed me this book with a note inside. She turned around and instead of threatening my life if I hurt her book, she threatened my sunglasses collection. This girl, man.
I bought unfinished wood book ends today at Hobby Lobby to decorate. Books take you to places you might not ever get a chance to go to in real life. I want my bookshelf to reflect that.
[EDIT:] They’re called Enchanted Fairy Doors and they are made by DME. I bought mine at my local Hobby Lobby in Indiana. You can buy them online though. You can find the one on the left here and you can find the one on the right here. Also, you can buy finished ones here but I’m not sure how reliable that site is and whatnot. I’m glad you all love them as much as I do.

I was filled with laughter and tears within seconds of one another and often at the same time. A beautiful book about which I have only beautiful things to now say. GREAT job!
Oh, by the way… If you can’t tell, I’m done with TFiOS now. I will only write a review after I read it a second time. (Which I rarely EVER read a book more than once but TFiOS was just that good.) I promise to put a cut in it when I do write it though as many of my overseas nerdfighter friends have yet to find a way to purchase the book. I am, however, up for (and encourage) fanboying and fangirling out via my inbox. DFTBA!
My bookcase is becoming acceptable again after all my books had to be boxed up. I am at least keeping these out. I need to put my textbooks up there too. That blank spine is my sketch book.
Sitting in McAlister’s Deli in Indy, John Green’s city of residence, with a cookie and a pop with the intentions of finishing The Fault in Our Stars and then starting The Hunger Games.
